It's hard to believe that Blamed and Broken
has been out for over four months. So much has happened
since I last took the time to write in this space. On a personal level,
Blamed and Broken was embraced by my community library
as part of a special collection of books by local authors unveiled May 8.

Just a week earlier, I was invited to speak to more than 100 police
officers from around the world, attending an international conference
in Vancouver. I brought about a dozen copies with me, thinking a few
people might want to read the book after my hour-long talk.

It's been a while.

I was overwhelmed by the intense interest in the narrative I uncovered. The delegates snapped up my books in a few minutes and I referred them to their local book store, or Amazon.
